And either
Or
I met the knowledge of language and life requirement to qualify for settlement on or after
28th October 2013; YES
Shall I answer to both of the above points, or shall I just tick the second one which includes both language and life? I received my ILR in March 2016.

1.46: What option should I choose Self employed or a director?
1.49: Address of tax office or tax office reference: What does this mean please

Section 6: Biometric enrolment
I am planning to apply via NCS, and will fill the details in questions from 6.1 to 6.12 with all my current BRP card (ILR) details and confirm that I am not enclosing it, and will cite reasons for that as I am submitting via NCS.
I could not understand the next set of questions, which are below, Do I need to answer these? Could you please explain what these questions are?
6.13 Date your fingerprints were taken: D D M M Y Y Y Y
6.14 Give details where your fingerprints were taken, including the town or city and country:
6.15 Give details of the British diplomatic post(s) involved if the application(s) was or were
made abroad:
6.16 Do you have a medical or physical condition which may require special arrangements for
your biometric features to be recorded?
Yes please provide us with a letter from a doctor registered with the General Medical
Council (GMC) giving details of the condition and/or special needs and explaining any
arrangements that may be necessary.
No

As required by British Nationality (General) (Amendment) (2) Regulations 2014, I confirm that I
wish to register my biometric information.

Lastly, in Supporting documents section

•Evidence of tax for self-employed applicants only. The most recent HM Revenue & Customs Self Assessment Statement of Account
I currently have myself and my wife being shareholders of limited company, do I need to provide Self assessment statements for both of us, or mine should be fine. I added her only last year to my limited company and I have not filed one for her yet. I think this is due later this year.

Please could you review and respond to my queries please.

Thanks again for the help.

Couple of comments from me - others on the forum might answer on the remaining points.

1) Tax Office address or reference - the HMRC office you usually deal with, or the reference from P60 or Payslip or other tax related paperwork.

2) BRP: You are actually providing the BRP card by way of NCS copying and certifying same, so no need to explain, tick yes. The other points you just need to answer as required, if you can't remember say so. Remember you will be required to enroll biometrics again once UKVI sends you the request and instructions.
This is just my opinion as a member of this forum and does not constitute immigration advice.
Please do not send me private messages asking for advice.

Many thanks Alterhase58 for your response, appreciate it.
On your response to BRP, shall I provide the details of finger prints I have given at Croydon during my ILR application in March 2016 and provide the details as required. Does that sound alright?

Dear members
Please could you answer my other queries.

Thanks

Thanks again CR001 for the help.

I have been looking at application form and I have few more queries, apologies for that, please could you help:

* Addresses for the past 5 years
1. I have been out of country for 8 months in one year and I lived in India. I only have a correspondence address (my friend's) during this time in UK. In the application form, shall I give my friend's address or do I need to give my India address.
2. Do I need to provide any proof's of previous addresses, would bank statements are enough? Also, if I have to mention my India address, I don't have any proof as all my bills were going to my friend's address in UK. Only thing I can provide is passport stamps at POE.

Thanks again.

1. You can put your Indian address and explain if necessary in the 'additional information'.

2. No proof of address is required, neither are bank statements. Submit only what is asked for.

Dear friends
Thanks for all the valuable advise. I am planning to submit below documents along with my citizenship application, please could you review and let me know if they are sufficient?

* Passports
* BRP and Indefinite leave to remain approval letter
* Application form AN
* Fees
* Letter from Agency confirming my employment since Dec 2011
* Self Assessment tax return for 2015-16, P60 (Please let me know if I need to submit previous years as well)
* Life in the UK test certificate
* Master of Science degree from University in USA (Would this be enough or do I need to get any additional letter from NARIC, The university I have studied is listed in points based calculator and for all my visa extensions in the past, I only used the degree)

Also, in Form AN, at the end Supporting documents
Section 3:
Evidence of lawful residence during the 5 years
What should we provide for this? IT says passports, but do we need to provide anything else.

And last question please, I tried to reach NCS but very difficult to get a hold of them over email or phone. I am planning to apply for passport as well at the same time. What is the procedure for this? Do I need to fill the application form online and print it off, or take the form from post office? What additional documentation do we need to provide with passport application?
Please could you let me know when you have a chance.

Thanks again for all the help, greatly appreciate the help.

If non-EU, your passports covering the 5 years is sufficient.

You can only apply for citizenship and passports at the same time through NCS and you can use any NCS, it does not have to be the one at your Council. You must complete the paper form for the passport and it is submitted at the same time as your Form AN at your NCS appointment.
