Cooling off while PBS Dependent

Post by Dasen » Tue Apr 25, 2017 11:13 am

Hi,

I have been on a PBS dependent visa since April 2016. Before that I was in a Tier 2 ICT (Long Term Staff) since October 2014. Can I apply for a Tier 2 General in May 2017, assuming that I have cooled off as a PBS dependent and my last held Tier 2 Migrant had expired in March 2016?

Thanks
Dasen

Yes, 12 months starts from the date the PBS dependent visa was granted. Apply from home country and full and proper RLMT is required.

Hi,

Thanks for the quick reply.

I was browsing through some of the earlier threads and my situation is same as the one below:

What if my visa gets rejected and the AR also gets rejected. What options will I have then? I just want to make a conscious decision and hence need your help in getting the facts right.

Thanks,
Dasen

If tier 2 is rejected for whatever reason and AR, then continue as a Tier 2 dependent. What is the issue with this?

Mod Geriatrix has provided the appropriate links and advice in the topic. Suggest follow that.

As I said, the 12 months starts from the date your PBS dependent visa was issued.
