10 years route IRL question?

Post by TGR123 » Tue Apr 25, 2017 11:45 am

Hi,

I first came to UK in September 2007 studying for Masters. After completing my studies I switched to PSW and then completed Tier 1 General 5 years in Agust 2016 and I applied for ILR under for 5 years route and application is now pending.
Now I have only 3 months to complete 10 years (don’t have any absence from UK more than 28 days and have clear and up-to-date Tax history). But heard HO doing interview for everyone and nervous about it.
I’m kindly looking for advice - what options do I have to buy 3 month time so I can apply for 10 years route without any risk or failures. Can I send a fresh application for any other category such as FLR or please advise any other options.

Thank you in advance

Applications made simply to buy time are now being frequently refused by the Home Office due to these being 'vexatious & frivolous'.

The interviews are mainly for T1G who were self employed or partly self employed. As you don't state what your employment situation was, no one can really answer this.

If you have no tax amendments or anything as such, then you should have nothing to worry about.

Thank you but my original question was Can I send a fresh application for any other category such as FLR to avoid any confiscations?

Have you not read Casa's advice??

As long as your Set(O) is still in process you are legal in the UK and covered by Section 3C. You cannot have two applications with HO at the same time.

Why are you concerned about Set(O)? Were you self employed??
