I would like to share my experience regarding my application for settlement.
I applied for ILR after 6 years discretionary leave using FLR (DL) which is for extension or ILR for failed asylum applicant on discreationary leave
07/04/2017 Applied by Post using FLR (DL) form
10/04/2017 Application Recived by Home Office
12/04/2017 £2297 fee was deducted from my Bank
20/04/2017 Biometric Fingerprint invitation letter recieved
24/04/2017 Biometric Fingerprint was given in my local post office
02/10/2017 ILR approval letter recieved
10/11/2017 BRP received
Overall it took very long , completely not happy with the Home Office service despite of granting me ILR.Because i paid huge amount of money ,but i got really poor service.
Anyway awaiting decision for that much long is really annoying.
Hope my the service get better in the future.

what documents you send with your application of ILR
did you send FLRDL when you had completed your 6 years or 28 days before your visa expiry
