Submission of documents

Post by Mrsrainbow143 » Thu Apr 27, 2017 9:26 am

Hi, posting for a friend

My friend submitted her fiancé visa application april 20th, but they can't make it to submit their documents in 4 weeks maximum they are still gathering documents. they already paid the visa. she already email ukvi and they said that late submission of documents may result in a delay to the assessment of the application,
Anyone here knows if that will cause a problem for their application? She's worried eco will use that a reason for refusal. Can't seem to find anything on the Internet regarding this.

Yes, it could be a reason for refusal and loss of fee. She should have waited to apply once they had all the documents.

I believe they have 15 days to submit documents once online has been submitted, but not sure if this is only from certain areas as your post does NOT state where they are applying from.
