EEA travelling Belfast > Dublin > Berlin

Post by omitteddatesofeea » Fri Apr 28, 2017 2:15 pm

I'm an EEA citizen and my SAR arrived today, it listed all my travels to and from the UK since December 2013.

However I traveled in between EU countries for example Prague to Krakow, Austria to Italy, and even Frankfurt (Germany) to USA were not registered on my SAR report.

I would like to know if I travel:
London to Belfast via airplane,
(Drive or train to Dublin)
Dublin to Denmark

Will the UK have my travel recorded from Dublin to Denmark? Would that be visible if I requested a future SAR?

The SAR will only record your travel in and out of the UK. It DOES NOT record all your EU travel and Dublin is NOT part of the UK.

Thank you CR001, do you know if the SAR would show records from Belfast to Dublin and London to Belfast?

Though Belfast is in UK and Dublin in Ireland , there is no strict border control when you travel by train from Belfast . I'm not sure about the immigration controls when you travel by flight from Belfast to Dublin . When you traveled by train from Dublin to Belfast ,have you gone through any immigration ? (In all probability I'm assuming no) . If not , there would not be any record of this data .
