So what is your question or should we do a 'single question / single answer' game?

Just realized that my post was not complete. That is what happen when multitask,

Please allow me restart.
I am on T2 ICT which starts on Feb 2015. My partner is a UK National. After marriage, our plan is to stay in UK. Can I apply for UK residency? Or do I have to convert my visa to dependent visa before applying for UK residency? I am not from EEA or Swiss National.

Thank you again.

I am not sure what you mean by (or think) UK Residency means??

Once married you can apply for a spouse visa. This will be a 5 year route to ILR (2 x 2.5 year visas) on form FLR(M) and then Set(M) for ILR shortly before you reach 5 years residence.

You/spouse will need to meet the £18,600 pa financial requirement and you need to meet the A2 English requirement or UK NARIC ELA if you have a foreign degree.

Adequate accommodation too.

Once you change your visa, you will have to inform your employer.
