Hi Guys,

I have started to get paranoid as extension approaches. I need to submit my application today.

I just realised that my first employee was 16 years and 10 months old at start of employment and she stayed with us for nearly two years.

It is a legal age to employee someone. But i am just wondering there won't be any issue?

According to the Govt website, a person can begin full-time employment at the school leaving age, which is 16 years in England.

For any member reading this thread for guidance on school leaving age, there have been changes for students in England (only).

In England, a young person must be in part-time education or training until they’re 18.
