Even less chance of being granted a visitor visa if your family are financially dependent on you. They need to show that they have strong ties to their home country, not to you.jathampy wrote: I am transferring money to my wife account almost every month. Will that help to show that my family is having ties with me?
Once your son turns 18 in November, he won't qualify for a settlement visa to join you as he will be considered and adult. If you want your wife and son to come permanently, I strongly suggest you apply for their settlement visas before he turns 18 otherwise your son will have to find a visa he qualifies for himself (Tier 4 or Tier 2 at some point)jathampy wrote:Thanks for the quick response. I understand that it's difficult to get a visit visa. Can I apply the family visa ?
