Help...Permanent Recidence or ILR?

Post by Sunshine33 » Sun Apr 30, 2017 6:45 pm

Hello,
I'm a Cuban citizen living in the UK since September 2012.
My husband is Irish so I got an EEA family residence card.
I'm planing to apply for a permanent residence next September.

1-Do I need to apply for ILR or Permanent Residence is the way to go?

2-Can my husband and I apply together?

Thanks in advance,

You cannot apply for ILR as you are not on a route under the UK immigration rules, ie. you do not hold a visa. A residence card is not technically a visa.

Your can apply together if you meet the requirements for PR.
