Why are you looking at moving to Portugal? Do you and/or your family know Portuguese?

Well good luck with your job search in Lisbon... I spend three years there from 2012 and 2015 and could not find anything unless you spoke Portuguese. I managed to find a job in IT as a Tech Officer for a French bank where I worked for 1.5 years. I was lucky to have found that job because they did not require me to speak Portuguese. I earned on average 970 EURO net per month. The Minimum wage is 300 EURO per month. It was hell! I even had to leave Portugal for six months to work in czech republic for IBM because I had run out of savings and could not find work.
Since I moved back to the UK in January 2015; my salary has increased to 29K a year for exactly the same sort of jobs...
Make yourself ready for a bumpy ride because you going to have to rely from your savings until you can find a job that will pay you peanuts. Portugal is in crisis economically so it will be the worse mistake you could make when moving to a country like Portugal. The other example would be Greece! Stay away from these countries...
I hope you can speak Portuguese as it will increase your chances to find a job quicker but be ready for the average salary of 1000 Euro net a month. You have a family? Good luck man!
