Getting parents permanently when only child is on ILR

Post by Sana11 » Tue May 02, 2017 10:06 pm

Hi,

I recently got ILR. I am only child and my parents are in India. My parents really need me and ofcourse I miss them too. I understand it is not easy to get them permanently here but as I am only child and have settled in UK, is there any way you know which I can try?

They have their own house and pensioners too.For personal reasons, I prefer to get them here than returning to India, hence trying my best before deciding to return to India for them

Thanks a million

Nope sorry, not under the UK immigration rules. The rules changed and became very difficult in 2012 and there have been very few successes and even the successes have been after lengthy and very costly appeal processes but were mostly for applications submitted before the rule changes in 2012.
