HELP: Tier 2 Cos assign problem

Hello everyone,
My company sponsored me to extend my Tier 2 visa, but failed by the end of April. They are working on to assign a new Cos to me; however, they said they cannot assign the new Cos because the previous Cos seems still valid, normally I think the Cos will not valid when the application been refused, but this time is strange. Does anyone know what is happening here? Do I need to do something? Massive thank to people who able to tell me what is wrong!

Well, now is trying again period, but the company said they tried to assign me the new Cos which they cannot do that, because the previous Cos seems still valid. If they cannot assign me another Cos, I cannot reapply my visa. Hopefully, make sense this time...

Yes, and now the firm is working on assign me a new Cos in order to reapply the visa, but they cannot

If your a CoS was 'assigned' to you and you applied to HO for a Tier 2 visa and it was refused, then the CoS is 'used'.

Why was the visa refused?
