Inviting parents in UK on visit visa

Hi,

I am a British National and working as an IT Consultant in UK. I live with my wife and 2 kids.

My Parents live in Saudi Arabia and i have been thinking about inviting them here in UK on visit visa. I have been to UK Visa Gov site for visa requirements but they are not in very detail.

I am earning 68k per year and lives in 3 bed rental accommodation.

Apart from following documents , do i need to submit anything else?

- An Invitation letter
- A Company letter with salary details
- A letter from a landlord
- Council Tax letter

Also, would UK embassy in in Saudi Arabia accept the scanned copies? Or only original are acceptable?

What evidence will your parents submit to prove their ties to Saudi Arabia, i.e. social ties, family ties, financial and property circumstances etc?

My dad has been working in saudi arabia for 45 years.

He has got all his documents ready.

- A letter from his employer
- A Bank statement if required

They live with my brother who is also a British National. I don't think he needs to submit anything as he will not be traveling.

And what is your mother going to submit?

They would need to evidence their family ties in Saudi if they are living with family.

Suggest read through the forum to understand the extend of documentation your parents will have to provide and also read up on some of the reasons for refusals.

My mother is father's independent.

In Saudi, you can't buy property so only tie there is work. My dad will attach his employer's letter.

My mother is my father's dependent.

Can i show my current account bank statement which doesn't have any saving but does show money coming in including and salary and going out transactions. Current account never had any debt amount.
