FLR (FP) or FLR (M) ... 2 years route or 5 years route or 10

Post by baddy » Mon May 08, 2017 11:00 am

Hello people,

I urgently need your advice on my situation. I will detail it below

I am a US citizen. In 2002, I got married to my wife who is a British citizen. And we have lived together in the US for 15 years and have 4 kids who have US and British citizenship by virtue of my wife (British) and me (US).

My wife also got her US citizenship by virtue of being married to me. But I never apply for any British settlement or naturalisation based on marriage.

Earlier this year, my wife and the kids moved back to the UK. And I came to visit them last month and we have decided I should stay with them because the stress of looking after the kids solely by my wife is too much.

I have researched the GOV.UK for necessary information and the right form to fill.

Please my good people, which form and route am I eligible to for? Is it

FLR (FP) = 10 years, 5 Years
FLR(M) = 5 Years, or 2 years.

Kindly help with this information.

No need for multiple identical posts in different sub forums. Continue in your existing topic you already have.
