NARIC letter for english language qualification

Folks
I have used my UK degree as proof of english language. Was I required to submit a NARIC letter along with it? Saw this being discussed on a different thread. I have used my degree for all visa/ilr applications thus far and never submitted a NARIC letter.

A UK degree is fine. You don't need NARIC, which is only required for foreign degrees.
