Hi Team,

I have a ICT Short Term Staff Visa Valid till April 20 2016, My organization is planning to convert the ICT Short Term Staff Visa to Long Term Staff so that i can continue to work in UK.

I would travel back to my home country and apply from there. But i need to supply a formal travel plan to organization.

What is the last date till which i can apply for Long Term Staff ? Or i can apply even after April 20th 2016 ?

Any help here would be great.

You can apply as soon as you land in your home country.

Hi Thanks a lot for the information. i just wanted to confirm if cooling off period applies in this case or not ? because i might travel back by Arpil 20th and post the paper work might apply in early may, is that possible ?
if not should i consider April 20 as cut off date for applying for Long Term ICT.

Hi Team,

I am currently in UK on ICT Long Term Staff visa issued in April 2016. There is a another A-Rated Sponsor currently who want to sponsor a Tier 2 General Visa for me. I wanted to confirm if I can ask my current employer to work with UKBA and cancel my COS & ITC Work Permit, once this is done can I apply for a fresh Tier 2 General Visa with a new COS from my mother country without any Cool Off period ?

Yes, you can apply for T2 General visa from your home country but you will be subject to a cool-off of 12 months before you can apply. You cannot move from T2 ICT to T2 G without cool-off.
