320.00£ for JR that never took place

Post by Zimsparta » Mon May 15, 2017 4:00 pm

After apllying for a judicial review which was rejected,
I have to pay 320£ to the Homeoffice now. As I had to pay 140£ for the review application I don't really understand why I would have to pay all that money for nothing. Is that really my duty to pay?

In civil proceeding, you pay for the other parties Acknowledgement of Service if you lose your claim.

Generally, in English (non-criminal) law, the loser pays the fees for both his own side and that of the winner.

this fee is very unproportionate. But I guess that's how the HO works. They are unreasonable in all ways.

The fee is not set by HO, it is set by the Courts/Judiciary.
