Tier 2 General Visa Transfered via TUPE

Post by rishika21 » Mon May 15, 2017 4:18 pm

Hi,

I am currently sponsored Tier 2 General visa by Company A till January 2019. The company is going to be sold to another Company B. If this other company has license the transfer of Visa will take place according to TUPE. I am going on long break to India soon and if during me being away from the country the sale happens. Will I need to be present in UK for the transfer process to the new company ?

If not then will there be any issues for me to return to the country after the transfer ?

Appreciate any help.

Thanks.

How long will you be away on your 'long break in India'??

Will you still be 'employed' and on the payroll?

Hi,

I will going for 5 months on maternity. I will be still employed and will be getting maternity pay from my company. If the transfers happens during this time will I have problems coming back into the country or can I produce some kind of letter from my new employer to the immigration officer.

Thanks,
Rishika
