Spouse Visa approved

Post by roanne15 » Sat Jun 04, 2016 12:44 pm

Afternoon

We about to submit a spouse visa for my husband. As l was sorting out the documentation, l was stopped dead in my tracks after reading more about the financial requirement and how it is calculated. l have been employed and salaried with the same company for 5 years. l discovered that 4 out of the 6 month payslips that will be submitted, show a gross amount of £1458.33, the one in December which will be included as the 1st shows £2183.33 and the one in June will show the same amount of £2183.33. l overlooked this and was going off the back of the amount reflected on my 2015/2016 P60 which stated more than £18800 which is more than the £18600 requested. I receive two guaranteed bonuses a year December and June in addition to a salary increase in July.

My understanding from reading Appendix FM
the figure that can be used towards the requirement will be the lowest level of annual salary received during this 6 month period prior to the date of application
Now my question is: Am l able to use £1100 savings l have held for 6 months in addition which l am not too sure using their calculations this will even help for me to meet the £18600 :(

Only savings over £16,000 will be considered in the calculation.
(Casa, not CR001)

so basically l should wait for my payslip to reflect £1500 for 6 months prior... It sucks that l am just £91.67 under a month :( . Will my P60 that shows over 18600 not be sufficient? as they go on the Gross on the payslip :(
