UK Visitor Visa - Request for Help

Post by Eli1986_UK » Fri May 19, 2017 11:17 am

Hello All,

Need your help on something. I'm planning to invite my sister in law for a month to UK. Currently she works in Private Company in India and since she is visiting UK for a month, the company has refused to approve leaves for a month which made her to resign (She was already thinking about quitting the job & take a break for quite sometime) the job .

She will submitting her payslips for the last six months and Verification of Employment stating that she is in this position for xx years but she can't submit her proof of leave because technically she is resigning her job. Is there any proof that she can submit that will prove that she will come back to India? She doesn't have own any property and also she is currently doing her MBA through distance education.

We just don't want to give the embassy an impression that she might be looking for a job in the UK which she is not going to do.

Is she married? Is she supporting anyone/dependents/parents?
In the absence of employer letter, she will need to show 'strong' family ties in India
However she cannot claim to be working as she resigned. This could lead to a 10 year UK entry ban for false information
Any suggestions I make in the forum are out my personal experience and should not be taken as a legal/professional advise.

Is she married?
No she is single

Is she supporting anyone/dependents/parents?
Yes she is supporting her Parents.

In the absence of employer letter, she will need to show 'strong' family ties in India.
I have ran out of options on type of documents that we can submit. We have her birth certificate, bank statements and she doesn't own property. We just have the utility bills, any suggestions or ideas?

She is serving her notice period, does it still falls under resignation?

Well she won't have evidence that she is employed and has been granted holiday by her employer. Big mistake on her part to resign and hope to get a visit visa. By resigning she is indicating that she has no real reasons to return.

Thanks for the reply. Well its still possible for her to revoke the resignation, as I mentioned that the reason why she choose to resign "now" is because the company would not give her 1 month of leave as they were willing to give leaves only for 2 weeks.
