employees hours calculation

Post by st1e » Sat May 20, 2017 10:15 am

Hi Zimba,

Can you please confirm about calculation of hours about my case below:
t1 extension 50 k route:
employee 1 employed for 21 months.
employee 1
started 01 apr 2015
apr 2015: 134.62 hours
may 2015 :134.62 hours
... until oct 2015 :134.62 hours
nov 2015:192.90 hours
... until sep 2016: 192.90 hours
oct 2016:154.32 hours
until 31 dec 2016:154.32 hours

employee 2 employed for 7 months:
employee 2:
started 01 jan 2016
jan 2016: 146.67 hours
feb 2016: 146.67 hours
Mar 2016: 116.67 hours
Apr 2016 : 120 hours
until 31 july 2016 : 120 hours

my accountant made mistake on march 2016 by giving less hours for employee 2. but still i employed employee 2 for a month extra, and also employed employee 1 for 21 months.
so, do HO consider 18 and 6 months of employment about case?

Thanks,

You need 104 weeks of full time employment (each week min of 30 hours work)

Hi,
Sorry to write here in someone post but my question is about the hours calculation. I hope admin would not mind.
If one employee works 110 hours a month.
Obviously he is not full time and he will be considered part time emoloyee. If an employee works as a part time for two years. Will he be considered one full time employee? I heard from solicitor that there is no a such point in policy which says that two years part time employement will be considered one year full time employement.

Yes we do mind. Please continue in your own topic or if you don't already have one, start one. It is unfair to the OP of this topic, it is considered rude to tag on and it creates confusion when members respond.
