UK Tier 2 general from Tier 2 ICT

Hi Boarders ,Moderators and SME's

I was in UK from June 2015 to June 2016 on Tier 2 ICT ST. Recently returned to U.K on Tier 2 ICT LT. Am I allowed to apply for Tier 2 General visa from within the U.K., if I get sponsorship ? Pls advise
