Northern ireland Tier 2

Post by dentist87 » Tue May 23, 2017 10:09 pm

Hi guys

Just wondering would a Tier 2 sponsored job in Ireland (Dublin) contribute to my 5 year resident status for the ILR the UK ? or is theirs a separate system ?
I am in my first year of Tier 2 in the UK at the minute and have a job in Ireland for next year

Please help!

Thank s

Dublin, Ireland (not Northern Ireland) is a different country not part of the UK and not Tier 2 General.

Republic of Ireland has a different work visa system.

You will need to follow the process of a work permit for Ireland. A year out of the UK will break your tier 2 continuity
