Advice for application over 1 year

Post by mr_young » Wed May 24, 2017 12:19 pm

Hi guys,

I'm EEA national who applied for naturalisation last year in May. I've never received my decision. Therefore I would like to ask someone if they had that kind of experience? If so what are the options? Just wait or should I do something? Thanks in advance

Yes I was holding document certifying permanent residence for 12 month before I applied.

I don't think there are any issues with good character. Would they let me know if there are any or just refuse my application?

Anything at all to doubt your good character? They may still be making enquiries.

As it has been over 6 months, you should be able to ask them for an update. If you don't get a satisfactory response, ask your MP to contact the Home Office on your behalf.
