How long you can stay
You can come to the UK with a Tier 2 (Intra-company Transfer) visa for up to the maximum stay allowed for your visa type, or the time given on your certificate of sponsorship plus one month, whichever is shorter.
The maximum stay for each type of Tier 2 (Intra-company Transfer) visa is:
Long-term Staff (if you earn more than £120,000 a year): 9 years

No, a Tier 2 ICT issued post April 2011 cannot switch
You could try other visa options for in country switch such as dependent visa, Tier 1 Entrepreneur..
If i complete 10yrs and apply for ILR, do i need to continue show CoS untill my stay in UK?

All of these are by current rules. Rules change every year and difficult to predict what the salary band exists by 2022bains123 wrote:Thanks for your help, that answer my questions.
So, at the end after 9yrs 10months; i can move out from UK and immediately apply Tier2 general with £159,600 and come back to UK which will not reset the clock and I can apply for ILR once 10yrs complete.
