FLR M Advice

Post by Samundri kings » Tue Mar 28, 2017 3:39 pm

I've submitted my new application FLR m on 7th of February 2017.
Received a acknowledgement letter and biomatric invitation letter on 27/02/2017.
I've enrolled my biomatric on 16/03/2017.
On 27/03/2017 I have received a letter from the home Office that they making a decision on my case but they required longer than usual time.
Can anyone help me please how long they would take....
As my last leave expired in November 2014. Then I applied FLR O which appealed refused on 02/02/2107. And given 14 days time to submit a new application or leave the country.
I'm currently on reporting position at the police station every month

It can take a couple of months or it can take many months. Nothing you can do to speed it up.

If you have received a 'complex letter, will take more time letter', you can expect to wait a few months.

Sir can you kindly tell me how long time home office will take to make a decision, or you might know if anyone on this forum has the same circumstances or waiting for his/her decision pending..
Thanks

You should have applied in person then.

Once you get the 'complex' letter, it can take longer to decide your application. HO will not update you with every check and process they do. All you can do is wait.

That's what I wanted to do, but my Soliciter wouldn't let me to apply in person, he said you're not allowed to subtweet in person, even I'm not happy the work he has done for me, he charged me a lot of money and helpful at all.
According to my first thread what are the success rate in my application, you think?..
Would they grant me visa ??..

All you can do unfornutately is wait then or withdraw and leave and apply from home country.

Not sure why you waited so long to do FLR(M) if your visa expires in 2014. Did you apply FLR(O) after your visa expired? What basis or reason did you state you qualify for FLR(O)?

What was your last visa you held?

Thanks for your time,

T4 leave expired in Nov 2014, I was looking for institute to get admission and extend my leave but unfortunately that time no admissions were taking place in November, I consult with one of the Soliciter he adviced that to submit FLR O before your current leave expired to regularise your legal status in the uk until admission will open, afterwards I tried to get admission but they refused to offer me a admission without clear status, they said wait for your decision to get a even six month visa otherwise we can't offer you a place,
Then my application were refused then i appealed against their decision,
But in mean time I met my partner in April 2016, and in November 2016 we gave a notice to get marry, which took place in Feb 2017, and while I was preparing my FLR m application upper tribunal refuse my appeal and Home Office put me on signing to the local police station,
What was your last visa you held?
My last leave was FLR O, which were refused

What visa did you hold BEFORE you applied for FLR(O)? If your FLR(O) application was refused, you have not held a visa in this category.

Before I had student visa, then applied for FLR O which was refused in May 2015, and appeal been held in first tribunal and then upper tribunal got refused in Feb 2017.
Both application were made in time. Upper tribunal gave me 14 days to made a fresh application or leave, in 14 days time I applied for FLR M which is under proccess. Do not know when will get clear status. Got disappointed now being waited for visa,

How long did you have a student visa?

When did you first enter the UK?

How long have you been with your partner?

Is your spouse or partner British or an ILR holder?

Then all you can really do is wait. Your case is not straightforward so will likely take a bit longer than usual.

Here's the letter wordings.
Although we would normally decid your clients application within 8 weeks. But this is not going to be possible in your case.
Because there are outstanding policy issues whichneed to be resolved which affect the outcome of the application etc.

Sorry for the delay which cause inconvenience in your application.
We expected to make an decision on your application within 8 weeks but we will write you again if this isn't going to be possible.

Not sure if the recent supreme court judgment has anything to do with application delays within the UK. Many applications from abroad have received emails about delays due to this.

Spouse visa interview help

Post by Samundri kings » Wed May 31, 2017 5:48 pm

Dear CR001
After being waiting about 4.5 months.
Today I've received a email from the Home Office in regards of my application. They invited us for interview to assess my application at vfs London next week.
Please help me what will they further interview both of us as they interviewed us before our marriage ceremony. Also we have provided them more than enough evidence in support of my application.
I spoke to my solicitor he's charging me about £350 to discuss about this interview matter. Which seems quite a lot for me to pay at the moment.
Please suggest me what type of questions they'd ask ?
Waiting for your valuable advice.
Regards
