Post by Abdullahkhn01 » Wed Jun 07, 2017 10:05 pm

Hi all
I'm married to a portugues citizen and I'm non Eu.. And I'm in Portugal... I applied for resident card thru marriage in april 2017 :D.. My question is how long it takes to issue a resident card?
Second question is can I go to Ireland on resident card alone? And my wife join me later? Or I need to apply for visa? Thank u all

I can't answer your first question, although it will likely take a couple of months.

If you would normally require a visa for Ireland, then yes if travelling alone you need to apply for one. You are only exempt if you travel with your wife.
