Tier 2 dependant visa

Post by KC1006 » Thu Jun 08, 2017 11:54 am

Hi I on tier 2 general visa and want to apply dependant visa for my wife based in India. A bit confused with the reason for visit, visa type and visa sub type.

Will it be settlement - settlement - wife or will it be work - tier 2 - tier 2 general partner (length of stay).

She's currently working in India and want to continue working here.

Kindly advise.

This one.

Settlement visa is NOT applicable unless you hold ILR.

Your spouse will be free to work for any employer, the only restriction your spouse will have is they cannot work as a doctor or dentist in training. If she chooses not to work, that s also fine.

Hi

I just wanted to cross check a couple of things. I am applying Dependant Visa for my wife and I am currently on Tier 2 General visa valid till 2020.

While filling the form for my wife application, under the Family details - under spouse/partner section, should i enter my details or wife details?

Under main applicant section, I beleive that I should enter my details as I have the CoS number provided by my employer. Kindly advise/confirm.

Also, can you please advise where can I find CoS number details, is it on BRP?

Under Maintence section as I am maintaing funds for my wife's application in my bank account, Should I select " Own/Main applicant funds", which should be 630+945= £1,575? Please advise.

Can you please provide us the list of documents too which will be required for application.

Thanks for helping us out.

Regards,
Karan

Yes you are the main applicant.
Maintenance requirement is £630 only, can be your or your wife bank statement.
