UK Spouse Visa Rules During Uncertain Political Times

Post by gratiaDei777 » Fri Jun 09, 2017 9:03 am

OK, we've had a Hung Parliament.

There may be a second General Election this year . . .

In these uncertain political times, am I right in supposing that the status quo applies until another government gets in?

Also, does the Visa service process visas as normal, or do they dally a bit, waiting to see what happens?

There is already a lengthy post on spouse visa on hold, most likely due to the court ruling on the minimum income requirement. At the moment, some people are getting visa and others are delayed for whatever reason. The rules have not changed.
