Hello everyone,
I recently applied for a visitors visa to take an exam -PLAB exam to be specific- on 6 July, my visa was issued to expire on 4 July!
I contacted them via email and phone and all they did is telling me that they escalated the issue. it has been 2 weeks and no one contacted me.
My question:
1- can this be fixed without applying for an extension.
2- can it be fixed from the uk because I need to travel to audit some courses.
3- if I applied for an extension, will I be able to travel to and from the uk for the extended period or it will extend my ongoing visit only?

Must be corrected before you travel.
Did you state the date of the exam in the UK on your application?

They just emailed me:
Thank you for your enquiry dated 02/06/2017. I am sorry for the delay in replying.
I understand that you are flying back to your country on the 06/07/2017 and your visa has only been issued till the 04/07/2017.
We advise people not to make any travel arrangements before they have their visa and passports in hand.
Regarding your query about validity dates on your vignette, we cannot change any visa dates at this point.
Please note the onus is upon individual customers to ensure that they satisfy the requirements set out in the guidance material. The guidance material accompanies each and every application form. UK Visas and Immigration is not able to give, indicate or advice upon the outcome of any such applications prior to it being given full and careful consideration.
Directing you to the guidance material is the only advice we can give you. If you need any further help you should seek independent immigration advice. Immigration advisors can help you with immigration matters, including completion of forms and representing you you at a tribunal. The Office of the Immigration Services Commissioner (OISC) regulates immigration advisors, which means they must meet a certain standards.
What should I do now, please?
I'm really clueless.

If you stated a date and provided evidence, ask them to review and xorrect if it was their mistake.
What is the start date if the visa?

You cannot apply for an 'extension' outside the UK. Suggest raise this with the ECO and submit evidence that your form requested a specific date and you submitted evidence of when your exam is.
You do have proof of what you submitted and your form??

yes I have a proof, and I told them about it.
I was talking about the extension because I already waited 2 weeks for that reply, so I thought I apply for it after traveling.
My only concern is whether I will be allowed to travel in and out of the uk during the extension.

You cannot extend the visa within the UK unless there are exceptional compelling and compassionate reasons. It also costs £993 for a postal application or £1583 for an in person appointment and you MUST submit extensive evidence of the compelling and compassionate visa.
No you cannot travel if you do apply for an extension as you have to submit your passport.

Hello everyone,
I have kinda of a beginners question.
I had a visitors visa and I applied for an extension and my application was approved.
They issued me a BRP "Visit Leave to remain"
Can I with this card leave and re-enter the UK?

Hello,
sorry to bother you but I'm very confused and don't know what to do.
Can I re-visit the UK with my extended visit valid BRP.
my original visa was Multiple entry.
I'm confused because it says Leave to "Remain" not enter.
