Too much leave in 5 years

Post by AllisonR » Wed Jun 14, 2017 12:43 am

Hi,
I am just about to apply for my ILR after 5 years in the UK with an Ancestry Visa, but I may have spent more than the allowed time out of the country - 2 days(extra) in the last 12 months and a few days(extra) in previous years(its hard to tell, I don't have complete stamps). Do I have to apply for an extension somehow, surely not the whole 5 year visa again, it costs even more now! My British husband has worked on and off in France, and most of my time out was to visit him there.

Thanks,
Allison

Have you excluded dates of departure and date of arriving back?
