ILR form- reporting of an incident to the police

Post by Saragaso » Sat Jun 17, 2017 2:13 pm

HI Im applying for my ILR in a couple of weeks time. Almost 2 years ago I was attacked unprovocatively while walking on the road by some( drunk )teenagers who then ran away. I reported the matter to the police and they came to take my statement the next day and the police were quite apologetic to me. After 6 weeks the police gave me a call to say that they could not trace the culprits and gave me some phone nos to call if I see the culprits again. That was the end of it. IS that something which is required to be mentioned on the form anywhere for belts and braces? Please advice.

Definitely not. You were the victim, not the assailant.

Please don't send me PMs asking for immigration advice on posts that are on the open forum. If I haven't responded there, it's because I don't have the answer. I'm a moderator, not a legal professional.
