Family Visit Visa

Post by Mak111 » Sat Jun 17, 2017 7:48 pm

Dear All,
I am currently in the UK withe Tier 2 general visa, and i intend to invite my mother to visit me for 2 weeks.
my concern is that she had applied for a visa 2 months ago to Spain which was not approved, will that affect her application to the UK?.
and I intend to provide my payslip only as a proof of financial support for her visit, as she dose not have sufficient fund in her bank account, will that be enough?.
thanks

No it should not.

No, it most definitely is not enough. She must submit substantial evidence of her social ties, family ties, property, employment, proof of funds (income/pension/husband etc).

She has to convince the ECO that she is a genuine visitor.
