Do you think is it possible to get a result without contacting MP.
In my opinion, no check or complex case will take this long! I suppose our applications is under a pile of new ones.
But still I am afraid to contact MP.

I applied first week of october interview in march.
still waiting. Mp didnt bring any results either.

Why you are afraid to contact your local MP you should go and squeeze his balls its not normal to sit quietly and do nothing and they keep your passport for 14-15 months .Contact your MP immediately to look into the matter.

I am on the same boat guys.

Waiting 14 months.

11 months since interview.

Contact Mp twice they said, need more time and now four and half months gone after that, still waiting.

I can say best of luck to everyone and to me as well..

contacted UKVI again today that my application is pending since June 2016 and they said to me that some one will email me with a response, see what I have received.

Thank you for contacting UKVI Contact Centre.

Our records show that your application has not yet been completed.

We are unable to advise when a decision will be made but you will be notified in writing once made. Until such time, we are unable to assist further. Should the caseworker require further information and/or documents they will contact you.

We are sorry we cannot be of further assistance at this time.

Contacted my Local MP, see reply below from my MP:


"I have just spoken to the Home Office, and they confirmed your application is still outstanding. Given the amount of time you have been waiting, they were quite surprised by this. They are going to chase this up today, and will update me as soon as they are in a position to do so.

I am sorry I cannot give you much more information at this stage, however hopefully we hear shortly, and as soon as we do I will be in touch"

Applicants who are late i would suggest take help of your local MP, it will work hopefully.
