Tier 2 General Extension-CoS Work Dates: Start and End Dates

Hello everyone,

I am on Tier-2 general visa and my contract was for12 months. but for some reason I have received 11 months visa. so last month I extended for 1 month tier 2 extension, now I received COS for extension for more three months from University.

My application is still in progress, do I need to make a new application for this three months extension or I need to send a covering letter from the university?

Kindly please help me.

You have to apply for another visa. The CoS is not a visa.
