Travel after ceremony but without passport

Post by Bond002 » Mon Jun 26, 2017 12:36 pm

Hi all,

I've attended my ceremony last Thursday (22/6) and I'm waiting for the passport to arrive. However, I'm travelling this weekend with the risk of the passport not arriving on time. Now that I'm officially British, is it OK to use my other passport to come back to the UK?

Thanks,
Bond002

You are required to return your BRP to the Home Office within 5 days of attending your ceremony, or face a £1,000 fine. How will you re-enter the UK without it :?: The airline are unlikely to allow you to travel on your return.

It would be helpful if such important info is included in your opening post!

Feel free to travel.
