Date of payslips and bank payments

Post by Y123m » Mon Jun 26, 2017 7:45 pm

Hi,
I will be applying for fiance visa later this year and meet the financial requirements.
I have a question about the date of the payslips and date of the bank payment. I currently recieve a salary, get a payslip each week and get paid by cheque. However, my employer only gives me the cheque after over a month. Sometimes it can be two months. I will receive a cheque with the total salary for the number of weeks since the last payment. For example i will receive 7 weeks salary after 7 weeks but i will get the payslips weekly.

My question is will this be an issue when applying and will it be accepted. My employer is a close family member so this is the reason behind the way im paid.

Hope someone can help.

Thanks

The payslip should show was you have been paid, not what your employer will eventually pay you at some time in the future!

All of the most recent 6 months of payslips & bank statements must correspond, showing that the earnings have been deposited.

This must be an extremely unsual practice where the payslips are generated weekly but actual payment arrives after 1/2 months. That practice may trigger high scrutiny and extra checks. Maybe attaching employer letter giving valid reason of such practice may work.
