biometric card

biometric card

My wife arrived in the uk yesterday via the spouse via from India to the UK (took 13 weeks for visa).

We will collect her biometric card today as it tells her where to collect it on the letter she got with her passport - but does her passport need to be updated as visa on passport only for one month?
or does she just need to carry her password & biometric card to go abroad?

i know the biometric card is for 2.5 years but does her passport need to be updated as well?
please advise

No need to update passport. Biometric card is her visa and she travels with BRP and passport.

as my wife is from india and wants to go back to india for a holiday - how many days is she allowed to be in india per year (while she has the Biometric card). is there a limit?

There is no absence limit for someone on a spouse visa.
