Tier-2 ILR, Current Employer Letter

Post by aakbar84 » Thu Jun 29, 2017 5:47 pm

Dear All,

I have completing my documents to Apply for ILR on 5 year Tier-2 (General) basis.
My employer has provided me with the employment letter which states my contract's start date and end data(Jan 2020). But they are not willing to write on the employment letter that I am required for the position in foreseeable. They are saying that contract end date automatically implies that I am required for the role till Jan 2020. Can you please provide any helpful guidance what is the exact format for employer's letter? Anyone who has recently obtained ILR on Tier-2 % year basis can provide template please? Really stressful. Please advise..

Regards

There is no template.

The letter must state that you 'are required in your current position for the foreseeable future'.
