Hi all,
I am eligible to apply for ILR later this year under Tier 2 General category - 5 years route. So I would like to clarify the below queries for my application.
(1) Due to delay in receiving my biometric card, my start date was postponed from 5 Oct to 2 Nov. But HMRC records show that it was recorded as 1 Nov (which happens to be a Sunday) though it was 2nd Nov. None of us realized until now. My employer seems to have also NOT recorded the change in start date in the sponsor management system (SMS) portal. Will this anyway impact the decision?
(2) My salary was revised from £33k (in COS) to £36k in last October. Again my employer has not reported this in the SMS portal. Will this anyway impact the decision?
(3) Before switching to my current employer, I worked for about 4.5 months (yes, months) with the previous sponsor. I took 3 weeks of unpaid leave during this time. Am not sure if at all this unpaid leave was reported in the SMS portal. In the official guidance it says 4 weeks of unpaid leave is allowed per year (Jan - Dec) to not break the continuous period leave. As I only worked for 4.5 months (5 days a week) with this sponsor will it impact the ILR decision? i.e. will the number of leaves be "pro-rated"?
(4) When I was on PSW I started a company in Jun, 2011, but was dissolved in Feb, 2013. My Tier 2 started from Nov, 2012 - so wondering if this impacts anyway?
(5) I joined my current sponsor on a much lower salary (£33k) than the previous one (£50k). HO Caseworker did question me during my premium appointment but finally approved the visa. Will this now anyway impact the decision?
Kindly advise if any of the above can be corrected at this stage.
Many thanks
