Spouse visa Financial requirement advice urgently needed

Post by Fleur » Sat Jul 01, 2017 4:17 am

Hi All, I really would appreciate urgent advice please on completing the Financial Requirement for a spouse visa.
I married a Pakistani national in pakistan this Easter.
I meet the £18,600 minimum income requirement from my teaching job which my 2016/17 P60 shows was 27k. Im hourly paid, contracted 30 hours per week on a fixes term contract. With current employer 23 months.
I also hsve rental income approx 4k deducted from my tax code and 8k savings.
I only want to rely on my main income however as i satisfy the financial requirement begore the rental income and savings. However, my solicitor insists i include the rental income and savings on the form as the UKBA will think i deliberately withheld this information.

My question is, where do i include this information in the Financial Requiremnt form? As im going through category A route, will adding in my other sources of income confuse the decision maker?
Can i add it in additional information part at the end? My solicitor wants to add the rental income to part 3C and savings in part 3F but i thought you only add it here if youre relying on category C or D as main methods?

My question is, do i include my savings and rental income somewhere so that im not witholding this infirmation or will including it confuse matters further? I gsve him my tax letters showing my rental income is included in my tax code.

First of all be clarified that the gross wages before any deduction is considered to meet the financial requirement and if you are earning sufficiently and are with same employer from last 6 month's then simply use category A salaried person route. Moreover, to keep application straight I personally think the only employment route maybe used alone if it alone sufficiently meet financial requirement although you can add your rental income and saving which increase your more paperwork. Remember to include last 6 months payslips and corresponding bank statements.
The opinion expressed as above is neither a professional advice nor contesting/competing to other member's opinion/advice.
