tier 2 dependent apply before but travel later than main?

Dears all

I have got my restricted Tier 2 General CoS. Can my wife on Tier 2 dependent apply for visa before me in India as I'm not in India currently, though eventually I intend to travel back to the UK before her after I apply for my visa.

I understand ideally we should apply together but can't. Its just saves us the time n headache by finishing her processing before. Else she applies later on than me.

She cannot apply for a tier 2 dependent visa if you do not hold a tier 2 general visa yet. She either applies at the same time as you or after you have been granted your visa.
