Tier 2 application and PBS Dependent Questions

Hi All,

I noticed that some of the members have recently extended their tier 2 general visa along with the PBS dependent visa for their dependents. I have a few questions on the same topic and I am hoping someone can advise me.

I am in the UK on a tier 2 general visa valid till Oct' 2017. My wife is on a PBS dependent visa. I am currently applying for an extension of my tier 2 visa using the online application. My questions are as follows.

1) Does my wife need to submit a separate application, even after me adding her as an additional member on my application ?
2) If she has to submit a separate application, does she need to use the same application form ?

We came across the following web page https://visas-immigration.service.gov.u ... nt-partner. When we try to apply through the link at the bottom, it is asking my wife to provide details about employment, salary etc.. This looks like a link for the main tier 2 applicant.

Any guidance is highly appreciated !
