Spouse Visa Financial Requirement Calculation

Post by Saffron » Sun Jul 02, 2017 2:14 am

Hello everyone,

Can you please help to clarify my financial requirement status for my visa application. My sponsor has the following financial situation.
- got employed in x company from 15 Jan-31 May 2017 for a salary of 25.700£ pa.
- then he changed the job to Y company from 01June 2017- now for a salary of 32.000£ pa.
- before January 2017 he was unemployed.

Can you please help me to understand if I am eligible to apply right now and under which category A or B? If under B can I apply immediately or do I have to wait more months until in his bank statement there are passed and received over 18.600£ in total?

I would be grateful if you could help me clarify this, before I am receiving different information.
Thank you so much in advanced.

Kindest regards,

If your sponsor is receiving fixed wages £32000 p.a (salaried person) and you want to opt category B then better to wait a bit more until when your previous wages in last 12 months reaches to £18600. Or you can apply category A after 6 months with your present employer.
