FLR (FP) 10 years route Parent route language requirement

Many thanks to you all for your helpful advise as always.
I am going to apply FLR (FP) 10 year parent route visa for my wife. She is currently as Tier 2 (work permit) dependent, I have ILR now and hence needs to switch her visa.
My question is if She needs to Pass English Language Requirement test? I am getting different views, also if Yes, which Test it would be.
We have an apt next week.

She doesn't qualify for the parent route if she is still in a subsisting relationship with you and living with you.

She must apply on the partner route.

The 10 year partner route is extremely a tough one to meet. Do you not meet the financial requirement, as the Home Office and COurts are refusing a lot today, unless there is war in her country, and there are reasons of health , political, which will prevent you from joining her.
