TIER 2 GENERAL TO ILR

Post by hasfa.yasir » Wed Jul 05, 2017 3:21 am

Dear All,

I am on tier 2 general Visa currently and eligible for my ILR next year in May 2017. My Salary is currently 34k but my company has agreed to raise it to £35.5k to qualify for ILR. My question is that after ILR, if for some reason I need to work part time/take career break and my salary becomes less than 35.5k, will I be eligible to apply for british citizenship after 12 months of getting my ILR?

looking forward to your valuable answers

Many thanks and regards

There is no minimm salary requirement or even employment required for citizenship. It is a completely separate set of laws and requirements to ILR.
