Financial requirement for spouse in UK

Post by Talon13 » Wed Jul 05, 2017 11:28 am

Good day

My husband and children are British Citizens. I have a Tier 2 ICT visa and after 6 months plan to switch to a spousal visa. A quick question please - my husband would ideally like to study full time as my salary will be enough to cover the expenses. In terms of meeting the financial requirement I have read that if I am in the country and have earned a UK salary for at least 6 months my salary can also be taken into account. What would happen if it was only my salary though and his earnings were 0 as he was studying. My salary would be well above the 18600GBP required - would this suffice?

I really appreciate any help with this question?

You can use ypur salary if you are applying within think for a spouse visa.

If applying from abroad, then only ypur husbands income is counted.
