Do you have evidence of cohabitation with your partner for last 2 year or more ?applez wrote:Good day everyone,
Please I need help with some adviceand don't know if i'm posting this in the right section.
I applied for visa to remain in the country as a family using the partner family route a while back in 2015 and it was denied. I missed my appeal and ahve been signing on since then. But in December 2016 I stopped signing on as I lost my papers and missed a few appointments signing on so I got scared and stopped going. I am not married yet but have a partner (British) and we have 4 kids at the moment.
My question are;
Can I still apply?
What chances/options do I have?
What else can I do?
If I was eligible to re-apply, under what route will I need to apply?
Any answers will be appreciated and if anyone has been or is in the same situation, I would appreciate your thoughts and experience as well.
Regards.
Thank you for your reply and it's much appreciated.New on forum wrote:Non compliance with reporting is not helpful but doesn't alone outweighs the interest of a child.
Your application won't be void.applez wrote:Thank you for your reply and it's much appreciated.New on forum wrote:Non compliance with reporting is not helpful but doesn't alone outweighs the interest of a child.
Yes I'm fully aware about the failure to report issue abd I'm just thinking of the best way to approach the situation.
Also currently, the Home office is in possesion of my passport as well.
If I do apply under the 10 year route as you suggested, will my application be deemed void as I've nt been complying with reporting for signing in?
I just want to be fully educated or atleast have some knowledge on it before I contact a lawyer and do the application. Don't trust lawyers very much as it was a lawyer who messed up my first application in the first place.
Thank you.

It should be valid as long as you fill the form correctly and pay the fee.
It will be considered and i don't think you will be refused for not reporting only.
And if refused you will get a right of appeal and decision can be overturned.
Unless you have a criminal conviction I do believe you will be eventually granted leave .
Did you enter legally?
I would say you shouldn't delay your application as it's taking a while nowadays.you are very much likely to succeed.applez wrote:New on forum wrote:Your application won't be void.applez wrote:Thank you for your reply and it's much appreciated.New on forum wrote:Non compliance with reporting is not helpful but doesn't alone outweighs the interest of a child.

Greetings,
Many thanks for your reply once more.
I do not have a criminal conviction and I entered the country legally in 2009 with a student visa (expired now of course).
Thank you.
Any further replies are still well appreciated.
