Dear fellows, I registered my UK-born child citizenship after my ILR. Now I am waiting for the decision, which takes much longer than I expected. I must take my child back to my home country for some reasons on 14th July. My child has my home country passport. I intend to take my child to wait for the UK passport and ask my friend post it to me. Then we can come back to the UK.
My question is that can my child leave the UK. Someone said the staff in the airport will check foreigners' UK visa, but my child does not have any UK visa. Can I say I will wait for my child's UK citizenship and UK passport in my home country? Is it sufficient to take the copy of birth certificate and the receipt letters from UKVI? Or should I say my child will not come back to the UK in a foreseeable future? Will the staff let us leave the UK? Please help me. I am so anxious about this issue. Thank you.
